PROFESSIONAL TIPS:
WHEN STAINING-This product is build-able but the longer you leave it on, before wiping it back, the darker the stain will be. If after wiping it back, you find that you want the stain to be darker, just reapply the product and let it sit for 15 minutes, then wipe back again. you can repeat this process until desired stain is achieved.
WHEN USING AS A TOP COAT- application is exactly the same as when using on bare wood. Paint on - wipe back. This product is buid-able but it needs to dry a full 8 hours between coats. If you want a beautiful wax-like lustre without the annoying maintenance, you can achieve that by lightly sanding between coats with an ultra fine grit sandpaper product like our 220 Grit Sanding Pad; then do a quick dust and buff with a terry clothe towel and proceed with the second coat - rinse/repeat until you achieve your desired finish. We recommend AT LEAST 2 coats of Natural SFO on high traffic areas. More coats will increase the wax-like lustre and protection.
